Attached is a photo of my
kingfish from last weekend. Too
bad I wasn’t entered in the
tournament!
I caught it at T tower on 12#
test line when I was fishing for
yellowtails at slack tide. I was
using a shrimp piece on a light
wire circle hook and caught a
blue runner (found it in stomach
of king). While cranking in the
blue runner, this bad boy hit
it. I had him hooked in lip and
20# leader held!
He circled the boat at least 3X
and gaffed him after at least 40
minutes of wearing him out.

Lobster diving in the Keys
The Lobsters tremble when they
hear Al, Ed, Todd and Dave are
coming. We usually eat them,
but this one was so big we had it
stuffed! |
