Note: If you intentionally unsubscribed, there is no
further action required on your part and you will no longer receive
the club eBlasts. Unsubscribing does not remove you from the
club, it just eliminates the unwanted emails.
WHY DO I NEED TO DO THIS? You may
have accidentally been Unsubscribed from Constant Contact.
The most common reason for that is when you forward an
eblast to someone. When they are finished reading it, they
click “Unsubscribe”; at the bottom of the eBlast. However,
CC Unsubscribes YOU, not them! You can prevent that by
deleting your email address at the bottom of every eBlast
before you forward the eBlast. Here's a sample:
WHAT IS CONSTANT CONTACT? The club uses a
service called Constant Contact
to send Broadcast Emails (eBlasts) to all members and their
significant others (if email addresses are provided). We
try to keep these to to a minimum. A single club officer
and a backup are the only members authorized to send an
Email Blast. Typically the eBlasts will include a
descriptive "Subject" such as "New event flyer", "Golf
event date changed", "Newsletter correction", etc. When you
see one of these that does not interest you it is safe to
delete it or just not read it.
